 Look, I’m on a roll…Here are pictures from Gwen’s 6th Birthday. 

 OK, so I have not been very good about updating this site lately…. I could make up all kinds of excuses but hey the truth is I’m just lazy.  ;)  So in an effort to turn over a new leaf, I am starting off with some portraits of the Girls in their Purim costumes. 

 Here are some of the pictures from the annual Father’s Day camping trip.  The weather was good and everybody had a great time…even Mat.  (I think)  Unfortunately we were so busy, we didn’t get a chance to take too many pictures. 

 Gwen has a bike!  We have been talking about it for a while now, and with the weather warming up we decided now is the time to get Gwen her fist bike.  Like everything we do, much research and shopping was involved.  In the end, we went with a high quality, larger 20″ bike that she can grow into rather than a smaller bike she will outgrow this summer.  Leave it to me to buy my 5 year old a Trek. 

 It’s Missy’s Birthday!  The girls and I made a litte cake and had a party.  -As a side note; Gwen asked how old mom was and when she told her Gwen replied “whoa!”

Gram and Gramp came up for a visit and since the weather was so nice we took a trip to the zoo.  As ususal the big hits were the geese and horse…figures. 

 Along with Easter comes the annual Egg Roll!  This year we had a challenging course designed by yours truly.  Not that winning really matters, it is interesting to point out that not only did I win; I won by a significant margin.  ;)  (no, we’re not a competitive family!)   Anyway, I got some great shots of the competition.

 Here are some pictures from the Easter morning egg hunt. 

 The girls had a great time at Purim and the costumes were a big hit.  (The hamentaschen were awfully good too!) 

Gwen was home today with a fever.  Trying to keep her occupied we were looking at picture on the computer (She loves pictures) and asked if she could take some.  Since my camera is too heavy for her to hold, I put it on a tripod and let her snap some shots.  She had complete control, told me where and how to sit, what to hold etc.  in some cases I helped her by operating the ball head to frame up the shot she wanted but she operated the camera and took the pics by her self…some with good results some not.    After her creative drive was satisfied we moved onto coloring horses and making sock puppets…
